Foundational Teaching
Foreword
Ecc 1:10 Is there anything of which one can say,
"Look! This is something new"?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.
The Gospel is not new. Grace is not new. The teaching and revelation we wish to present and uphold is not new. We just wish to humbly present it with a new and fresh annointing of the Holy Spirit. A new wine for new a wineskin!!!
MT 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
We prayerfully wish to equip the saints by way of laying a sound Biblical - non religious foundation based on the heart of God. The doctrine we present is grounded in a righteousness that comes by faith alone.
Rom 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
We believe that faith righteousness is a key to the kingdom of God and a very necessary equipping for the saint.
Heb 5:11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
Heb 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, 2 instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God permitting, we will do so.
We present a faith that produces the manifold grace ( enabling of God ) and a grace that in turn produces change in thinking and deeds in man. We do not present that man can be changed by his own efforts. This would make the cross of Christ of no effect.
Gods grace is supreme in His working through the Holy Spirit. It is by His grace alone that all aspects of our life are empowered.
We also wish to introduce man to a loving Father. We wish the disciple to come to a true knowledge of the glory of God.
The glory of God is His very beautiful nature. LOVE!!
The love of the Father has too long been misrepresented by an apathetic people too willing to believe God desires to judge and find fault. The knowledge that God is truly loving and forgiving is what ignites true faith.
Ex 33:5 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, and maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.
Jesus stated that to know Him was to have eternal life. It is also our desire to teach the disciple who He is. He says eternal life is to know Him.
Jn 17
Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4
Most of the material used herein is the work of many believers gathered from many sources. These works are in some cases only slightly tailored to sharpen and conform more readily what we believe is the Truth. Some of this material originates from sayings and teachings and preachings of Mart De Haan / Pastor Jim Richards / Pastor Ben Schlachter / Steve MacVey / Ed Elliott / William Sills / Nathan / Greg Boswarva / Watchman Nee - and God willing as we grow, many, many more.
We ask only that you prepare your hearts in prayer for guidance prior to engaging in this material for God the Father to impart revelation into your spirits by His Holy Spirit. That you receive only that which God would impart to you for your greater growth in Him and His kingdom.
Enjoy!!!!
