The Right Paradigm
It is imperative that the believer becomes established in the new covenant on which one may build all doctrine in such a way that faith is simple and the FINISHED work of Jesus is the focul point of all belief.
There is so much contradicting theology in churches today born from contradicting beliefs.
The problem has not been so much that we do not have enough faith but rather that we have contradicting beliefs.
A foundation is what makes a building stable. You must build on a sound foundation. We will falter in our walk with God when we cannot get what we believe to work in our own experience.
If there is a problem it is not God but the problem is somewhere in us or about us!!!!.
Mal 3:6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
A paradime is your world view or is the point of view from which you interpret data.
We view the world or life in a certain way and then bring that interpretation of our world view into the scriptures of the Bible. It follows that we can do this wrong if we view the world wrong.
Understanding comes from the heart. Understanding is the function of the heart. If you do not know the dynamic of the heart then you will not know how change comes. A heart that believes wrong cannot act right. The heart will cause you to act from what it believes. Gods word does not work for everybody. For Gods word to work for you, you must believe it in your heart.
God created man to be the recipient of His love. Eph 1: In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
A paradox is when there are two seemingly opposing views.
The paradox in Gods nature is that He is a righteous God but a loving Father. You will never get the truth until you understand the paradox.
A contradiction is when two things oppose. A paradox is when two things seem to oppose but dont.
The paradox is God is Love but also righteous.
Christians sometimes want righteousness and dont know the Love of God and so end up trying to do works.
The righteouness of God demands that sin committed in the body be eliminated in the body.
Righteousness is the means of God and Love is the motive of God. This is the paradox. We will not understand the plan God made for man if we do not understand this paradox. Therefore man needs the righteousness of God for mans sake.
In the Old covenant God had conditions. In the New Covenant God had conditions that Jesus met for us. We can enjoy this freedom won for us by Jesus. God has not changed. It just seems so.
Another paradox is that God is sovereign but will not interfere with mans will.
Another paradox is that God has given us everything we need for life and Godliness but we appropriate this by faith.
Another paradox that is hard to understand is the reality that we actually do sin but are righteous. This has to do with our position and condition in Christ. If Christ was not in us we would be totally lost.
